Renaissance + Quirk Hotel Wedding in Richmond
Maryanne and Tommy’s Renaissance and Quirk hotel wedding took place right in the heart of Richmond, Va. Preparations began at the quirk hotel. The pink, chic themed rooms made it a fun location for the ladies to get ready. The rooms provided ample natural lighting to even accommodate an overcast day. Because Maryanne had a larger bridal party, we moved the remaining getting ready photos and first look with the bridesmaids to the foyer of the Quirk Hotel. This allowed ample room while still keep in step with the clean bright light of the getting ready room upstairs.
We used the charming sidewalk in front of Quirk hotel for the first look and portraits. We also just had to include some great street shots! For wedding party photos, the Quirk hotel has a large atrium that reflects beautiful clean light all throughout! This is helpful since their party was larger and it would be more difficult to fit them outside on small street corners.
Richmond as quickly become are more favorite city to visit and photograph. The diversity of venues and aesthetics along with the busy city feel makes it an excellent choice for many couples!
