Gala 417 Wedding Virginia Beach, VA
Jackie and Robert’s Gala 417 wedding in Virginia Beach was the most perfect, early fall wedding! The weather was still warm enough for comfortable outdoor photos, although we did encounter cold and strong winds that cut sunset photos short! Their black and white, chic, clean color palette complimented the Gala’s clean, white aesthetic so well! My most memorable moment was during the reception when the bride and groom snuck away to change into comfortable dancing outfits. Jackie wore a white version and Robert wore an identical set in all black. The sets are by Comfrt.
Favorite Photo Spots at the Gala 417
Gala 417 offers quite a few backdrops for photos despite it being a more compact venue. The indoor ceremony and reception space is definitely the most popular choice given it provides bright, clean light all throughout the day. The second most popular backdrop is their covered terrace. The works great especially when it is raining but you desire some outdoor photos to go along with your indoor portraits. The patio by the entrance is a great choice for bride and groom portraits while the marina is a excellent choice for wedding party and couples portraits.
Most couples want to avoid the parking lot, the homes off to the side, as well as any unkept boats sitting at the marina.
