Today on the blog, we are featuring Jenny and Owen’s international Country Club Wedding. I will always remember Jenny and Owen by the way they made us feel! From their engagement session in DC, we immediately felt like friends! We laughed, joked, and shared our life stories so effortlessly. Their session was amazing so it was no surprise that we were really looking forward to their wedding. Their day did NOT disappoint! The venue provided the best backdrop to their wonderful vision. Jenny and Owen are organizers and planners by nature, so everything was planned out perfectly! This allowed all of their vendors to flow through their wedding with ease. Not all of us can be so organized and diligent but Jenny and Owen pulled off the logistics like professionals!
Memories Made
Two memorable moments from their day was the first touch and the father/daughter first look. Jenny and Owen opted not to see each other before the ceremony but they did choose to do a first touch and read their vows privately. It was a beautiful moment underneath a gorgeous oak tree. Next, was the father/daughter first look! This moment was special, not only because of the emotions but because I was able to embrace the lighting situation and create deep, rich images that expresses the moment perfectly! Sometimes, we can be so focused on only using the perfect lighting but some moments need to be unscripted and staged! That moment was one of them.
Michael and I wish Jenny and Owen many years of blessing and happiness and we are thrilled to share our highlights from their day.
