Taylor and David’s Yorktown Virginia Engagement Session was a BLAST!!!! I honestly love photographing in Historic Yorktown in the fall because it provides deep romantic greens with a hint of rustic orange and red! When Taylor and David decided on this location, I was ecstatic! These two immediately feel right in to place as soon as I lifted my camera and gave them the first pose! If you are a client of ours, you know that I always start with the “grandma pose”. We got this name from one of our very first couples! This pose is the one that your mom, aunts, and grandmas will typically pick out: the two of you just looking and smiling at the camera!
Once we got the grandma pose, we began the fun! Taylor and David are naturals and their walking shots are effortless!!! I appreciate the attention they put towards their outfits! Each outfit was simple yet dressy enough to really elevate their engagement session. They used colors that did not compete with their environment. The ivory and deep greens were a perfect compliment!
