Updating our blog with a beautiful Hermitage Museum and Gardens Engagement Session in Norfolk Va!  I’ve know Jennifer, the bride, for quite a few years and when I found out she was engaged, I was so happy for her!  I was even more thrilled when I saw her wedding photography inquiry in our inbox!  A major plus is that I am a huge Tim Burton fan and their wedding will be full of Jack and Sally flare!!

For their engagement session, Jennifer picked the Hermitage museum and Gardens for their gothic/tudor style architecture.  The aesthetic flows well with their wedding theme.

As I was photographing them, one thing stood out to me.  The fact that Tim, the groom, always naturally leaned in close to Jennifer without me even having to pose him!  Those little things speak the loudest.

I’m so glad that Jennifer and Tim have found their “Jack and Sally”….

Enjoy some of my favorites from their engagement session.

updated post coming SOON!

As wedding photographers, we are often told by clients that they are awkward and nervous in front of a camera and that they just want to look and feel natural!  We all can relate to that!  I too feel awkward during family photos.  However, I've learned that by having a strong ability to pose and to notice the small details, we can make every look great and feel like their natural selves!
