CNU Engagement Session | Nikki & Andre
Wow…where do I begin with this beautiful CNU engagement session with Nikki and Andre. Honestly, CNU was not our original location. Our plans were to meet in downtown Hampton and shoot their engagement session there but the rain made us plan for a location that had covering. I suggested CNU and Nikki loved the idea. When the forecast called for clear skies, Nikki decided to still stick with CNU and I’m so glad she did. I’m glad she stuck with it for two reasons. One being CNU fit them perfectly and TWO, it started to rain the last 30 minutes of our session. I mean, pounding rain! I think there may have been lightening too but we were all too busy running for cover!
Nikki and Andre have been married for 10 years! They have three children and will be doing a vow renewal ceremony next year at this very same place!
As their session started and I led them in the first few poses, I could tell this was going to be an easy session! Nikki and Andre hit every pose and I loved how Andre often did things that made Nikki genuinely laugh! Some of my favorite images came from Andre doing something funny. I often encourage our couples to just have fun and I tell them if they bust out laughing out of nowhere, even if I have them in a pose, then GO WITH IT!
So excited to share this session with everyone and Michael and I look forward to March of next year when these two renew their vows!
