Slover Library Wedding
Kaitlyn and Andy’s wedding at the Slover Library will be one that I will always remember. I’ll remember this wedding not JUST because it was beautiful or because the ceremony took place on a grand staircase (more on that later!). I’ll remember this wedding because Kaitlyn and Andy made this wedding all about their friends and family. Seeing their guest having fun and enjoying themselves was more important than making sure that all the details were perfect. I loved seeing that in these two!
Kaitlyn and Andy decided to get married at the Slover Library in Norfolk, Va. Michael and I had never been to this library before so we were very excited to photograph at a new venue!
It rained on the day of their wedding but that did not dampen their joyful spirits at all! Instead of outside, Kaitlyn and Andy did their first look on the indoor balcony with their bridesmaids watching below! Simply beautiful!
Their ceremony took place on the main staircase of the library. Their guest lined themselves along the railings as they looked down to watch Kaitlyn and Andy say “I do”. It couldn’t have been more perfect!
We were so honored to have been there as their wedding photographers! We wish them many years of happiness and togetherness!!

Kaitlyn and Andy love to cook so it was only fitting that they have herbs as their plant of choice for their centerpieces! Best of all, guest were able to take them home afterwards!
