THE AUDREY ROSE WORKSHOP
Last week, I had the opportunity to attend the Audrey Rose Workshop. Now, when Michael and I first started our business and we began learning about other photographers in the area and visiting their blogs, Audrey was one of a few photographers who stood out to me. Her style was very unique and I really enjoyed reading her blog posts. So when Audrey announced that she was hosting a full day workshop packed full of so many topics, I already knew I wanted in. We were also at that point in our business where we were ready to boost things up a notch, so the workshop came at the perfect time!
On the day of the workshop, we dove right in to topics such as lighting, composition, and posing. It was just so much GOOD information! After taking a break for lunch, we all went to the Historic Post Office for an amazing styled shoot! This was the part I enjoyed the most because we are all shooting together, trying out each others lenses, learning together and asking Audrey questions along the way. We also go to walk away with beautiful images to keep!
THE SECOND HALF
Afterwards, we headed back to Audrey’s home were we jumped right back in to more educational content! I’m so grateful for the amount of information that was covered in the workshop! I seriously couldn’t wait to put them all to use! After headshots, and dinner, we ended the workshop learning about the business side of things. It was great to see how organized Audrey is in her business and I can honestly see why it is so successful.
I was so glad to be a part of this workshop! As soon as I got home, I shared what I learned with Michael and we began implementing those things right away!

We each received a bag full of goodies, a notebook, pen, and a personalized Magnolia leaf! How cute!!
The workshop was rich with so many slides and examples which made everything to clear and easy to understand!
Henry kept coming back for ear rubs!! OH MY HEART!
This was so beautiful! I am so grateful for all the vendors who put this together for us!
Best part by far was shooting along side Audrey and all the other attendees!
