A Bright Brock Environmental Center Engagement Session in the Fall
As Virginia Beach wedding photographers, we have photographed many Brock Environmental engagement session and each time this location gets better and better. There is no “ideal” time of year to photograph here. All year around, Brock Environment Center provides gorgeous light and beautiful backdrops. During the fall, the natural light tends to be a little more strong but I love it because it provides more POP and color to our clients images!
When I first met up with Shannen and Devin, I knew they were going to photograph amazingly. How did I know that?..It wasn’t because they were obviously photogenic. It was because I immediately noticed how relaxed and comfortable they were together. Before the session even started, these two were already laughing and enjoying themselves. THIS is what makes a session magical, natural, and genuine!
Shannen and Devin opted for a neutral color palette so that their outfits compliment the environment. To make their engagement session even more fun and natural, I incorporated TONS of movement and games. I tell my couples that I will never tell them to “laugh”. Instead, we play games and I give them different prompts in order to get natural laughter…and great memories when you look back at the photo!
