Kate and Adam’s Kiln Creek Golf Club & Resort wedding is another one that I will be adding to my favorites! Kiln Creek is right up the street from where Michael and I love and it is such a photogenic venue! What made Kate and Adam’s wedding memorable for me was the fact that it was a very family centered, intimate gathering.
Let me just start by saying that Kate and Adam had a very busy month of May! Kate graduated from ODU, they got a house, moved their things to North Carolina, and came back up to Virginia for their wedding. You would think that they would be tired but it never showed throughout their entire wedding day.
A Day to Remember..
We started with some quick getting ready shots followed by their first look. During their first look, Kate and Adam privately read their vows to each other which gave them a chance to speak their heart with no one else around! We went into portraits right after and I still can’t believe how great these two are at posing!! So many great images it was so hard to pick just a few for the blog!
Because of the unpredictable weather (it was calling for thunderstorms), their ceremony moved indoors but, no matter, it was still gorgeous!! Kate’s father walked her down the aisle and Adam’s father officiated. After the vows, we quickly made our way to the golf course greens to catch the little bit of light that was left and we had the most AMAZING time photographing Kate and Adam along with their wedding party! They ended the night with dancing and a beautiful sparkler exit!
I’m so excited for Kate and Adam and they settle in to their new home and life in North Carolina! We wish them so much happiness!
