I am a little nervous and a little excited to introduce our new brand and website!! I’m nervous because I hope everyone likes it but I’m excited because I think we finally nailed a brand and look that represent who we are and are style!!
When we first made a website, we made so many changes here and there because we just weren’t sure of who we were yet a photographers. We didn’t know how to portray ourselves to our clients and convey our style through our pictures yet! So, we out together a website that “would work” and slowly we purposefully gave ourselves time to slowly learn our style and really dig deep into who we are as a couple!
We made our own branding board on Pinterest and pinned everything we thought fit out photography style and represented us. After a few months, a pattern began to emerge and, honestly, it didn’t surprise me. The truth is, we knew who we were and our style all along. We just doubted it and thought maybe it would change.
Once we knew the look we were going for, we began searching for a website that would best give us a good foundation to build upon. We waited months to finally find the right fit but when we did, we knew immediately that it was the one! Our website is by Ribbon & Ink. They are phenomenal when at web design!
As you can see, our style is very simple. It’s clean and it’s sophisticated. We aren’t drawn to a lot of color or designs. We wanted to keep that same feel throughout our website and even in our print material such as business cards and flyers. Our logo took a LONG time to come up with because honestly, we didn’t think simple was good enough. But at the end of the day, we decided on the least “fanciest” logo because it best represents our style.

This is our home page. It’s simple and clean with a dash of color! From here you can access our different website pages or visit our social media pages.
This is one of two logos that we came up with. Again, it’s simple and clean with a dash of sophistication!
This is the “About Us” page. We spent a lot of time rewriting this because we wanted to have a open and genuine bio and not something that read “This is us, we’re from Virginia and we love taking pictures!”
This is also on the “About Us” page. It list our favorite things (which will probably change with time!) and our Instagram feed. You will see our Instagram free on a lot more of our pages because that is the social media platform that we love to use the most so we want to really promote visitors to visit our Instagram account and follow us!
Here is the “Gallery” page where you can access our wedding, engagements, and portrait photos.
What I really like about this site is that our visitors can view our photos “gallery style”. We like this because it look very similar to how we delivery photos to our clients. To view the photos individually, you just simply click on a photo and click the left or right arrows.
This is our blog page. Again it’s simple and clean and keeps the same flow as the rest of the website! You scroll down and view all of our blog post. Some post are still being uploaded but we should be done very soon!
This is how the blog post looks when you open it. Very clean and simple with more pictures posted as you scroll down.
Last but the most important is our “Contact” page. I just love the look of this! The background images moves as you scroll up and down! We hope that many couples choose to fill this out after visiting our site!
