If there is one thing that Covid-19 has changed in the wedding industry, it’s the surge of micro weddings! Kate and Nathan originally planned their wedding at a large venue near the water. When Covid-19 affected the number the gatherings allowed, Kate and Nathan decided to cancel their big wedding but instead have a wedding close to home surrounded by family and friends. They chose Cochon on the 2nd in Williamsburg, VA as their new, smaller location. This restaurant is unique to Williamsburg, VA and offers a private dining area that Kate and Nathan utilized. The menu is created by a chef and cooked one-of-a-kind.
Kate got ready at their home and then we headed straight to Cochon on the 2nd where her family and friends (along with Nathan!) were waiting. The ceremony was sweet and meaningful. After the ceremony, we headed to Colonial Williamsburg for some incredible bride and groom portraits! Seriously, Kate and Nathan are so photogenic! Once we wrapped up portraits, we headed back their private dining room to enjoy and incredible meal! Kate and Nathan’s wedding is proof that even small micro weddings can be as equally stunning and beautiful as larger ones!
Enjoy some of my favorites!
