Downtown Hampton Va Bridal Session
There is not much to say here other than …”WOW.” Sara’s Downtown Hampton Bridal session is one for the books! I loved every minute of it! Sara’s classic style and beauty combined with charm of this historic church made for the best bridal session!
I encourage brides to take advantage of a bridal session more many reasons. The main reason is that you get a chance to see your full bridal look before the wedding and tweak things if needed. Perhaps you want a different size bouquet, or a bolder makeup look! Your bridal session is a chance try everything out before the big wedding day!
It’s also a great way to get lots of pictures in the gown that you sent lots of time and thought into picking out! You won’t be wearing that wedding dress again so make sure you get plenty of pictures in it!
Location is Key…
In the weeks leading up to Sara’s bridal session, I was really trying to think of places that were not too far away from her hair and make up locations and that also “fit” into the overall aesthetic of her wedding day. Sara’s ceremony would take place at a historic brick church right down the street from her reception venue, the Historic Post Office.
After not being satisfied with the locations I was finding, Sara and I decided on the church as her session location, St. John’s Episcopal Church. After seeing how the sun set perfectly on the front of the beautiful church, I knew this would be a great place for portraits. I only was a a great location in terms of light, but her bridal pictures flow seamlessly into her wedding photos!!
Now that Sara and Eric’s wedding day has passed (and YES, I’m very sad to say goodbye to this wonderful couple) I’m pleased to share some of my many favorites from Sara’s bridal session!
