Nicholas and Mary’s Colonial Williamsburg Virginia Engagement Session is a great start to our new 2019 blog posts! Their session was everything we hoped it would be: fun and relaxed with great weather! We began our session with two solid spots within the busy Colonial Williamsburg then we headed over to a secluded beach on Colonial Parkway to finish out the session.
Mary and Nick met 2 and a half years ago on eHarmony. With her sister and Aunt both meeting the man of their dreams online, Mary figured she’d give it a try. When Nick moved to Virginia, he also joined and from their their relationship grew!
These two LOVE being together. Mary recalled a time they just started seeing each other. ” I went on a girls trip with my friends. I guess he couldn’t stand being away from me because when I got home, Nick showed up at my front door with a flower and asked me to be his girlfriend. It was a sweet moment that I’ll never forget.” Here they are, 2 and a half years later and they are about to be married!!
Their engagement session was so beautiful and I’ll never grow tired of photographing at Colonial Williamsburg. My favorite moment during their session though, was Mary and Nicholas taking me to a spot on Colonial Parkway that they both love! I’d never been their before and we arrived just as the sun was setting. I could tell these two loved that particular spot because they became like naturals once I began photographing them. Being in our element and in locations we love really brings our natural selves all the more.
I’m excited to finally feature Mary and Nicholas on your blog and I hope you enjoy my favorites! Can’t wait to see these two again November!
