Lions Bridge Engagement Session

Abbie and David’s Lions bridge engagement session was so incredibly…FUN!  These two wanted to make sure they laughed together and to really have a good time!

The cute thing about Abbie and David is how they met!  They met through a mutual friend at their church.  After they met, they quietly liked each other from a distance, both drawn to each other yet waiting for that right moment!!

The funny thing is…when that moment finally came where David asked Abbie out, she ran away!! YES!  David had walked her to her car after they had lunch with Abbie’s sister and hubby.  Once they reached the car, David asked her out to dinner and, according to Abbie, she suddenly remembered she borrowed a pair of jeans from her sister! In wanting to return them, she told told David “Yes, but hold that thought,” and she RAN across the parking lot waving the pair of jeans at her sister!!  LOVE IT!  These two laugh at that story all the time!

Abbie and David are just a great couple!  They love camping, so this outdoor, nature filled engagement session at the Lions Bridge was the perfect fit for them!

We are so excited to share their images on the blog today and we look forward to their wedding on May 18 of 2018!

Enjoy our favorites!!

Seriously, their dog Baloo may be a giant, but he is as gentle as a koala bear!  Just look at that face though!!!

As wedding photographers, we are often told by clients that they are awkward and nervous in front of a camera and that they just want to look and feel natural!  We all can relate to that!  I too feel awkward during family photos.  However, I've learned that by having a strong ability to pose and to notice the small details, we can make every look great and feel like their natural selves!
