1-7-17 was supposed to be their wedding date. The date was symbolic to them. It was special. It was a symbol of perfection and completion. But a snow storm came that day and they had to postpone their wedding to the next day, 1-8-17.
I know it was hard for them to postpone it because they were so ready to be husband and wife. Asking them to postpone it for 24 hours probably felt like a week! But when 1-8-17 came, they were ready!
The day of the wedding, I told Mike that this wedding gave me a different feeling. It wasn’t your typical wedding where the bride is involved in all the planning and the groom just like goes along with hardly any input. No, this wedding was different. This wedding felt like a gift from Jonathan to his beautiful bride Lakeshia. I watched Jonathan make sure every detail was in order for his bride and that she was as stress free as possible. On their wedding day, I saw a groom madly in love with his bride and willing to do anything and sacrifice everything for her. I loved seeing that!
This time, we were blessed to actually film their wedding. Usually we are the photographers, so it was great to change it up and film. We did take photos here and there just to lightly document the day.
So with the wedding over and the wedding trailer complete, we’d like to share this special day with everyone. Below you will see some of our favorite photos that we took as well as the trailer that we put together.
We are so excited to share this and we can’t wait to update this blog with the full film! Enjoy!
