I’ve been wanting to share our little Christmas decorated home with you all for weeks now, but life has been very busy around here lately. From Michael working full time, taking Sophia to school, homeschooling my oldest, keeping the youngest one from injuring himself (because he gets into everything!), and running this new business of ours….this post has been pushed back week after week.
But here we are, three days before Christmas and we are finishing up a project and winding down for a nice long Christmas break.
We usually are those people that everyone rolls their eyes at…you know, the people who put up there Christmas decorations the first week of November…Yes! That’s us. EVERY. YEAR.
This November thought, we were packed in boxes waiting to move, so we didn’t decorate until the beginning of December (when normal people put up there decorations!). But here we are! The Christmas decorations are up and we are happy to hare our little space with you all!
Before I go, because we probably won’t post again until January, Michael and I just want to thank all the couples and families who have allowed us to come into their lives and photograph them. We count it an honor to get to know you and call you friends.
To the ones who have helped us build our business this year…Thank you. We pray that God blesses your business as much as you have bless ours.
To the new friends that we have this year, we hare happy that you are in our lives!
2016 was a year of change for us. A year of new challenges, and a year of new fears. But it ended with new hopes, new dreams, new goals, and a stronger belief in ourselves and in the truth that certainly, with God, all things are possible.
So we look forward to 2017. We will be launching our new website in the middle of January ( which is a very big deal for us!), looking at expanding the commercial side of what we do, and being more intentional about taking time out for our family (can you believe we have never been on a real vacation!?)
Here is to great 2016. We will enter 2017 refreshed and ready to seize the year and all that it will hold.
The nutcracker has a name: Sir Henry Nutcracker the First!
Our Christmas theme has always been Poinsettias and Cardinals.
These two birds actually have names too: Charlie and Paulie!
